Field Day 2007 - Page 1

This year we were back at the Hawaiian Paradise Park Community center. Robert Oliver NH6AH returned as Field Day chairman for this year. There are many pictures from field day. I am kicking off the picture formatting project with just a few, but more will continue to appear in this spot as time allows, so check back later.

For 2007, we had an active two transmitter ssb site, 100 watt maximum running on alternate power (generator supplied by Eddie Miller W7GMH), placing us in the 2A class. Antennas started with two triband beams put up on Friday, one that belonged to the club (on a sectional mast), and another (with tower) provided by Lloyd Cabral KH6LC complete with truck and trailer for delivery! We also had a 2M/440 vertical mounted on a goalpost.

Gloria Whiteley (associate) Barbara Darling NH7FY and others kept us well fed throughout the day.
