Meeting Information

Business Meetings.

BIARC holds monthly meetings on the second Saturday of each month at 2:00 P.M.

Business Meetings are held at the Keaau Community Center. Typical format is a presentation or demonstration of interest, followed by intermission and the official business meeting.

Members, guests and anyone interested in Ham Radio are all invited to attend.



BIARC Board Meetings are held every other month one hour prior to General Meeting , at 1PM. January, March, May, July, September, November. All board members are urged to attend.



Other Meetings

Other meetings are a chance to get together and discuss radio and other topics of interest in a less formal format. These meetings are not sponsored by BIARC and are gatherings of ham radio enthusiasts at many levels.
  • Lunch meetings at 11:15 a.m. every Friday at the Hilo Hawaiian Queen's Court Restaurant on Banyan Drive, Hilo.


  • Daily Breakfast meetings at the Jack in the Box Restaurant in Puainako Town Center at the 2 mile mark of Kanoelehua Street (Volcano Road) in Hilo starting at 7:00 a.m. and generally continuing until about 9:00 a.m. Particularly deep and/or interesting conversations have been known to continue well into the morning.
